Can I ever gamble again. NO I CANT...why, because I cant gamble responsibly. I have no control when gambling. However I Have control when not gambling. I can put all sorts of preventative measures in place because my mind is clear and not addled. An addiction in any form is incurable but it can be arrested, locked away never to be used again. Gambling like substance addiction has a common factor. Its the first bet that does the damage. My next bet will not be today, maybe tomorrow and as tomorrow never comes I will be safe. When its my time to leave this world my gravestone should read.

Totally agree Mick. When my time is up, I hope my gambling will be a distant memory by then and people remember the good things I did for my nearest and dearest and in my community. Something like 'Tony was a jolly good bloke' would do!
