I DID NOT GAMBLE TODAY.IT WAS TEMPTING SEVERAL TIMES I WANED TO STOP BY THE STORE TO BUY SCRATCH OFFS .BUT I DIDNT.I WORK NIGHTS AND BUY THE 20 DOLLAR ONES TO SCRATCH ON NIGHT SHIFT TONIGHT I DIDNT .I DID NOT GAMBLE TODAY AND IM GOING TO TRY NOT TO TOMORROW.FRIDAY WILL BE HARD BECAUSE I GET MY PAYCHECK.I USUALLY CASH IT AND GO PLAY CLUB KENO.I DONT LEAVE TILL IVE SPENT AT LEAST HALF MY CHECK.THINKING THE NEXT DRAW MY NUMBERS WILL HIT.THANK YOU MICK FOR ADVICE. Hi Donna, well done for not gambling today, that's great.

You say friday is your danger day because you get paid, try to leave the money in the house and only carry small amounts around with you. That will take away some of the temptation. That was how I managed to get into recovery and thankfully, I'm 22 months gamble free now. Focus on spending some money on yourself on friday, even if it's only a small item, you will feel good about not giving your money to these cards and will also have something to show for your money. I wish you well.
