Monday morning after my walk, I had a heart attack.  I was rushed to the closest hospital, and with alot of medication the heart attack was stopped.  Later that day I had a stint put in one of my heart artiries, to unclog the blockage.  I also have a blockage in one of my legs.  The Doctor will have to put a stint in my leg also, I need to recover for my heart attack first, then we will take care of the blockage in my leg.  I’m 53 and was a walking timebomb.  I was under a general anethistic during the procedure, so I could see what was going on, the tv screen, the blockage, when the stint was put in, and the end result.  I lay there thinking, I’m not ready to go to heaven yet, please let me have another chance to live.  As of Monday, I am also smoke-free, I have to stop, that would be a slap in my Doctors face to continue, and a death-sentence for me.  I have never been hospitialized except for childbirth, a real eye opener.  I am now on 4 different heart medications, which I will need to take forever to keep my heart healthy.  I am soo thankful, I’m ALIVE!!! Thank you God, for giving me a wake up call, to take care of myself, and letting me be here for my family and friends.  Thanks family and friends for rallying aroung me, and encouraging me.Seize all the good things in life
