As Vera suggested, is there any reason you need your full “months allowance’ in one go? What else can you do differently? It sounds like you have several debts at the moment that your wife doesn’t know about? That in itself is going to make it hard for you. How can you service hidden debts if you are being properly accountable and limiting your access to gambling funds?
