Topic: Day Two is Still a Day Away -If Only
Today "Would Have Been" my one month anniversary, but the very next day after starting my journey I slipped. I merely joined the recovery program that day as a token gesture, I made no commitment, no pledge to myself not to gamble, and as a result, I failed.
Such unchallenged failure will not happen again, I am now fully committed and to fortify this undertaking I now attend GA meetings, read and participate in this site, and more important, I now pledge daily that I will not gamble that day.
