Hey Irwin,
one thing I’ve learned sticking around here, never give up on yourself!  I have seen some great changes being made.  Some of us take several attempts at lining things up for takeoff.  But boy is it beautiful to see someone who struggled soar.  And it happens!
Be kind to yourself Irwin, you are making some major changes and you had gambled for a long period of time.  You are probably going through withdrawal symptoms.  Do whatever you can to make yourself more comfortable.  Little treats or things to lift your spirits. 
You only have to make it through today Irwin, tomorow isn’t here yet and you made it through yesterday already.  You can do it!

Gotta say I am proud of you.. Before you were struggling for one day, now you have made it 11 and ********.. good on you Irwin, just keep doing what you have been doing to be gamble free.  Way to go.. Also to Tarbert who posted above, start a thread so we can all reply to you too..

Great job on you gamble free time.
I saw you wrote and my thread, and thanks for the support.  I have been out job hunting, and it has been tough.
Jobs are so scarce.  As I am on my job hunt, I pass casinos constantly, and it just makes me sick to think that they have all our hard earned money.  It helps for me to think that way, so I can keep driving right past them.
Anyway, stay strong my friend, and thanks for all your support.
Let’s do this together my Kentucky friend!
