have been with my partner for 11 years, he has always liked to gamble, and over the last few years it has been a problem for us. he will go through faces of gambling then loosing the money trying to chase it, having payday loans etc to try and recover it, then admitting to me the extent, each time its a usually between £800-£1500, last june was what i thought the last time after he promised me it wouldnt happen again, only for me to descover this weekend its happened again.
He has had a loan of £5000 to repay the money, and i only found this out as i looked at a letter. I have told him i cant cope with it anymore and i want him to go and see someone about it, but he said he wont unless i go and see a doctor about anxiety! which i cant understand has any relevence.
He has now left, packed a bag, and told me hes moving away and he will be in touch.
