I gave to those who cared not for me
And took from those that I love
It is so painful to see my flawed fantasies
Was never the stuff dreams are made of
 
For if I were to bet and win
Would I not just bet again?
My windfall it would not long last
I hope I can escape my past
The damages I finally see
So I am in search of a better me!
