      Good morning FO,

You started posting to GT with the story of your gambling and how "nothing really matters", now you have reached the stage of proclaiming that you will quit; I see this is a start of your recovery.  You went from noting mattering to caring for all the love ones that you caused pain, and knowing that you have your whole life ahead of you; recognizing that your life does matter.
Now that you have said that you are going to combat this addiction, it is time to take action and do it. Start sitting up barriers to help you limit access to your money and to reduce the opportunities for you to gamble, and start working on changes to your life and character – working to eliminate the character faults that addiction feeds on, and working on the things in your life that triggers you to run to the addiction.  If you are still in the UK look up the locations for Gamblers Anonymous meetings and start going to them and following their guidelines for recovery. If you are back in Romania and near Iasi, go to the GA meetings there. Keep reading the post here at GT and participating in all of their features; here you will find how to set up the needed barriers and support in you making the needed changes in your life. Here and with other help providers such as GA you will be able to do what you need to put an end to your compulsive gambling; to live up to your statement "its one thing to say it and one thing to do it", or as members of GA say "It works if you work it, it don’t if you don’t".
      God’s speed.
Larry"Day Two Is Another Day Behind" – With the help of a Higher Power, My 3G’s – God, GA, and GT, I will continue to be  gambling free.

Hi and welcome to the forum.  Im sure you will be reading a lot you will relate to on the other threads here, you will also be reading the success stories – what are they doing that you can apply to your own situation?
As you say "…..I"ll finally quit(only GOD knows how many ***** I"ved said this)….."  What can you DO to make it differrent this time?  Can you exclude from gambling establishments in Romania?  If you gamble online you can certainly get a blocker for your PC.  I see there is a GA meeting in Romania –
      SUNDAY
      Iasi G.A.
      17.00-19.00
      Crucea Albastra Association (Blue Cross)
Str. Cuza Voda nr. 2, Scara 2, Etaj, 1, Ap. 7
      Iasi, Romania

       Is that anywhere near you?
Keep posting and let us know what positive steps you are taking.
