      Hello,
I have replaced gambling with increasing my steps (walking/exercising), whenever my gambling increase, my exercising usually decrease (then my weight increases).
I have more time to reach out and talk with friends and family.
I have started back bargain shopping, something I use to love to do when I was selling on Ebay (before gambling took over my life). You can find the neatess finds at thrift stores.
I’m not a real people person, not a very social person.

I wrote out some goals for this new year, one is training myself to be more social. So I plain to have lunch with at least one person each month of the year ( a different person each month). Of course staying gamble free and visiting the forum daily was a couple. Oh, a couple small vacations… Quite a few other things that I want to accomplish.
So, as I complete goals I plan to check them off.

I am just trying to live normal again and I realize it will take me some work after doing nothing but gambling for years with all my free moments.

Great post Cruising, thank you. This is an important Topic; if all we do is stop gambling then life is going to be very boring. It’s the fun things we gradually find to fill our time that makes it worth the effort as we se the benefits of not gambling. Recovery isn’t a punishment – it’s for enjoying 🙂

      Hi! Good day!

Even though I’m not addict in gambling yet, I still find this site useful, it makes me minimize my time to play baccarat.
