Who’s making one to stop gambling?
Well obviously it’s a good idea in theory but we have all made those resolutions before, why should it work this time?
Rather than just making a "stop gambling resolution" what else would help?  What resolution would REALLY help your recovery?
    How about a resolution to:
    Post here more often?
    Get to GA meetings?
Get excluded from your local gambling establisments?
Install that blocker on your PC?
    Be honest with your wife/husband/partner?
    Some other positive actions?
    All of the above?
If you’ve made the stop gambling resolution in the past, and not been successful, then what are you going to DO differently this time to give yourself more chance of success?  To give yourself more chance of not having to make the same resolution next year?
Keep doing the same things and you will keep getting the same results.

It’s been 2 days since I gambled. I’m getting cravings now. I will fight them
