Most of you know me, my name’s Jane Fahy, Clinical Services Manager for Gambling Therapy, and I’ll be cycling from London to Paris in June, along with my husband, to raise money for the Gordon Moody Association. My husband Jo did a charity bike ride last year so he’s not new to all this. I, on the other hand, am VERY new to this. I have never done anything of this magnitude and I’m not what you would call an athletic or sporty person so this isn’t going to be easy. I can pretty much guarantee there will be blood, there will sweat and there WILL be tears! So please, please, please make this all worthwhile by making a donation, even just a couple of pounds if you can spare it, to a charity that puts lives and families back together through their residential treatment of problem gamblers. Just click on the link above!
Thanks 🙂

Hi All
Just a quick update…training for London to Paris is going slowly at the moment due to a nasty cold and annoying British weather! We will no doubt get back on the bikes later in the week and get our little legs pedaling for Gordon Moody.
All donations, no matter how big or small, ease our pain and make a tremendous difference to people accessing residential support through Gordon Moody.I’ll keep you informed of our progress 🙂
Thanks

£255.00 raised for Gordon Moody so far so I wanted to say a special thank you to Joe Smart, Lizzie Lemon, Erin Fahy, Elaine Smethurst, Kelly Sheard, Sue Rossiter, Paul Bellringer, Phil Silver and Tim Wade for their support. If you haven’t already sponsored me, please do, even if it’s just a pound (dollar), you’ll make a difference: http://lnkd.in/drAKMbf

Starting to get very scary! I will be doing a warm up sportive this weekend of around 50 miles and I have now received my special Gordon Moody cycling vest so I’m getting well and truly ready.
If you haven’t already sponsored me but you’ve been meaning to, there’s no time like the present 🙂
Thanks

“Just” a 52 mile warm up race. That would be enough for me! The fact that you’re doing 300 in a few weeks is amazing!

Feeling all kinds of terrified at the moment! Ruby the bike has been serviced and we have all of the recommended kit on our kit list…..there really is no getting out of this now! Lol
Wish me luck all, I’ll let you know how I get on.

This is my last working day before the ride…tomorrow we’ll be heading to London and at 07:00am on the dot on Wednesday morning we’ll commence our 300 mile trek.
If you haven’t sponsored us yet, there’s still time so please spare anything you can. Send us positive vibes next week to get us up those hills and I’ll see you next week!
