I spotted this on Vera’s thread in My Journal, posted by Cat and felt it was something that could be shared to us:-

This November 29th, 2011, I will be celebrating my 85th Birthday and if I were asked what guidelines I would give for healthy and happy living, I would offer up the following:
Live one day at a time; always accepting gratefully ‘God’s plan’ for me today.
Always be ready to help someone else; even at an inconvenience to oneself.
Accept the hard things in life with joy; knowing it could always be much worse.
Take time every day to pray, not just for one’s own needs but for the needs of
others….nothing is too small in God’s eyes and our prayers are always heard.
God sends us what we need; often not always what we want.
Love overcomes all obstacles, it is the strongest force we have.
Be the first to forgive, holding no grudges and you will have the peace of God which
      surpasses all understanding.
As written by Sister Marjorie Rose– October 2010Everyone has a destiny, it's up to us whether we choose to follow it though !Looby Loo
