Hello,
Before I write my story I would like to take a few moments to express my support to all members, some stories had put tears in my eyes and I will always pray for all of my gambling brothers all around the world. My gambling began before a year after starting working from home, at some point my days were alike and I found joy only in slots, I always bet in safe loss range, but rarely win and after today’s loss I decided to completely stop this nonsense, I realized how manipulated by those organization we are, the odds of winning are close to 0, the euphoria of getting a scatter keeps us playing another round and another, sounds, images, jackpots are aggressively tossing to mental illness, the problem is not in our mental state, casino’s invest in psychology researches to find what drives us to addiction.
As I always try to find benefits in all negative situations I want to let you know what we have gained during our gambling journey. Don’t ever forget that we are strong I am not telling it because it’s a common support word – its because we always find a way even through our biggest losses to stand up and try again to strike the retirement win, it’s like hitting a wall with our heads, but we always find a way (money) to participate again, we are creative as we keep on perfectly lying to our loved ones to hide our mental illness, we believe in hope and we are sensitive, all of this soft skills can be used to become what we have always wanted to be – successful.
As much as this post is to give voice to my gambling addiction is also to let all of you know that its not our fault for in what situation we are, they want us to be ill and to have the magic pill, as my title states the time has come to heal ourselves with love and hope for a bright future, as we are the only one in control of our destiny.
My thoughts are with all of you and do not hesitate to reach me for support.
Best wishes,
