Some history…I have been a compulsive gambler for over ten years. Returned to my GA groups various time throughout that time. Conclusion, it never goes away. Placed my last bet November 29th, 2010.

      Day 2
Another escape, another high, you see it’s not about the money, it’s about the action. To be in action is to feel alive, cause otherwise you feel dead. It’s about the unknown, the high, the risk taking, all or nothing. This is why you end up with nothing. Waiting and anticipating the high is almost as pleasurable as the high itself. The problem lies in the fact that you must come down from that high point and this is of major concern. This is the pattern; anticipate the high, experience the high, come down from the high, reset and repeat. It’s not a means to an end, it’s the means to THE END.
