I have just been in my first Topic Group and I recommend it to you all
We talked about honesty and I realised how difficult it must be to start telling the truth after year of lies because you so desperately want a new life – and not to be believed. Many CGs are afraid to be honest.
As a community we can help each other but I was the only F&F member there. We have a chance that is denied to so many to put our thoughts and fears into the open and hear honesty from CGs who are anonymous, who have no reason to lie and who will either put your mind at ease or give you food for thought. You have your chance to ask questions that are unfathomable to F&F – questions you cannot ask your own CG because you have lost trust.
This is a great group. I never do ‘what ifs’ but if I had, had this opportunity years ago I would have grabbed it with both hands and it would have made a difference.
To anyone thinking true recoveries cannot take place – I promise you they can.
