I feel gambling as a addict it’s way out of control is it even possible to stop. Doubt it very often only takes that one bet to lose it all. Saddo me. I am new to forums

I feel the same. I’m so ashamed of myself and so disappointed that I ended up becoming an addict.
I don’t know, this is the first time I joined this forum. I just want someone who can understand me and eventually get rid of this addiction.

I know we can. I don’t know though how.

      Hi Shashinicka,

It is good that you have joined the forum! Try not to blame yourself too much as it can be difficult to quit gambling. For now, it may help if you focus on your feelings and actions in your gambling diary and fill in the void that gambling has left with new things to do.

I started gambling about a 1 1/2 years ago. I would go to a casino every now and then but then I was introduced to an online casion and got hooked. I lost so much money and like most I’m ashammed and don’t want to gable anymore. I’ve always rationalized it by saying to myself well you still pay all your bills on time. Though that part is true I put us in credit card debt took out a loan and lost some of our savings. I hate that this has happened to me so late in life when I really need to be saving money. I’m very disgusted with myself and want to work to break this addiction and this is my first step writing this reply.

Hi dandoy08, starting to write within forums can be hard. Have you considered starting your own thread within my journal to allow the community to support you . Just use this link, scroll to the bottom and tell us a bit about you, what bought you here, how you feel we can support you… whatever you feel comfortable doing https://www.gamblingtherapy.org/forum/forum/my-journal/

Boa tarde!

Leia as outras histórias no Fórum My Journal.
