Hello, I’m Costas and I have been playing slots since I was 17 with some breaks starting from 1 year to 4 years in total more than half my life peugeot gambling either I was happy or sad I liked a cigarette for the last 10 years I noticed that I played everything and many bigger amounts if I did not lose I would not stop playing. the only good thing I think I have achieved is to understand that for the last five years I have a serious addiction problem and to try to stop now knowing that my future will only be disaster and nothing else. the current situation due to coronavirus has contributed to the worst many people are addicted to gambling and alcohol and drugs and especially now because of coronavirus things are worse.

Today I close ten days without gambling and I am still fine. I consider the most difficult period to be in the month or in the quarter then I feel the strong desire to play gambling since anyway I was never a daily player I could do 5 and 7 days to play. Many times in the past, while I had stopped gambling, three months had passed without playing and I said let me play for 50 euros, since I can check it anyway, then I realized that this was wrong since I was sticking and playing again without stopping and after I lost everything. I will see how it goes I hope to stop forever and permanently.

It is great that you can go for a month gambling free! I cant even get through a week at this point. You are right when you say that the covid virus has made things worse. I’m sure that the online slot sites have never been busier. I play online, which makes it hard to avoid, and if you know your triggers, pay extra attention to them when you have been gambling free for a while. The addict brain always tries to convince itself that it can indulge „just a little” because you have been in control for so long. The gambling has rewired your brain and it will take time to get it back to where it wont crave it. Just know that it is a craving, like cigarettes or drugs, and it is going to lead back to where you were before. Easy to say, oh so hard to do. Just keep fighting – that is what you are doing. Fight it. I hope you have another long stretch gambling free
